Ms. Dianne Hill
Clerk of Superior Court
Dear Ms. Hill:
Enclosed is a Notice of Withdrawal which we are filing as a formality, since this case has been returned by the Law Court to the York County Superior Court for further action. We were effectively discharged long ago by Mrs. Petit and the other Plaintiff. In any event, two Trustees in bankruptcy have owned and controlled this claim since June 4, 1993 as an asset of the bankruptcy estate. We were never retained by any party in the bankruptcy proceedings for any purpose. Since other counsel have been represented Mrs. Petit for many years regarding this case and have their appearances on record, a motion for withdrawal is unecessary. See Maine Bar Rule 89(a).
Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
Very truly yours,
John S. Campbell

captioned matter.
DATED at Portland, Maine this 27th day of January, 1997.
