Steve's Place is located in West Bath, Maine, between Brunswick and Bath (about 30 miles North of Portland), off of Route 1: Take the New Meadows Road / West Bath exit off of Route 1 and head South. You are then on the New Meadows Road. In 1/2 mile you will come to a stop sign. Continue in a straight line across the intersection after stopping. The road is now called the Foster Point Road. Continue 4 miles until the end of the public tar road. There should be some stone pillars directly ahead through which a drive goes to a private brick house. Do not go through the stone pillars, but turn left onto a dirt road (very good condition -- I am the road commissioner). Continue until it ends in a small paved parking area at the end of the point (1/3 mile). You should be between a big and a small white garage. I probably am in the big white garage or the smaller white house (second from the very end) which is connected to the parking area by a short paved path ... it has a deck and a big brass bell by the front door ... or finally perhaps in the larger white house at the end of the Point. If I do not appear, ring the big brass bell. If a small mostly white dog shows up at the door, his name is "Sam". He will probably bark at you and wave his tail ... but have no fear.
